Brenda Hymes

Brenda Hymes has a wide range of work experience spanning several roles and companies. Brenda started their career at AFSA Data Corp as a Loan Origination Representative in 1989 and later became a Manager and Business Analyst. In 1999, they joined Sallie Mae as an Sr Manager, IT and was responsible for managing the analysis and development staff for the Private Credit loan products. Brenda then worked as a Director of Technical Project Management, acting as a liaison between the business areas and the Technology teams at Sallie Mae. Brenda later became a Sr Director before taking on their current role as Vice President at Sallie Mae. In their current position, they support all business areas on the implementation of system projects and is currently working on two major projects: the implementation of a new origination system and the implementation of systems and business processes for the Bank spin-off.

Brenda Hymes attended New York Mills High School from 1979 to 1983. Brenda then pursued their Bachelor's degree in International Studies at Utica University from 1983 to 1987.
