Monica N. Sutton

Monica N. Sutton, SHRM-SCP, currently serves as the Director and Senior Human Resources Business Partner at Sallie Mae since July 2018. Prior to this role, Monica held the position of Human Resources Director at Veolia North America from August 2013 to December 2017, where responsibilities included leading the HR function across multiple regional and corporate domains and managing a team of HR representatives. Previously, Monica worked at Kroger as an Associate & Labor Relations Specialist and Human Resources Administrative and Benefits Manager between October 2008 and February 2013, contributing to return-to-work processes, progressive discipline education, and oversight of various HR committees. Monica's career began at White Lodging Services, where Monica was the Recruiting Manager and Human Resource Coordinator.
