Stephen Hoofer

Stephen Hoofer currently serves as a School Board Member for the Metropolitan School District of Pike Township since January 2025. Alongside this role, Stephen has been with Sallie Mae since January 1996, holding various positions including Director of Enterprise Data Governance, Manager of Data Governance, and System Analyst. Key accomplishments at Sallie Mae include deploying SharePoint and Microsoft Teams across the organization, ongoing management of SharePoint information architecture, and the deployment of M365 products such as Power Apps and Yammer. Stephen has also developed web-based applications for Sales and Marketing, managed corporate intranet systems, and played a vital role in IT consolidation during a corporate merger. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Purdue University, obtained between 1989 and 1993.
