Liz Hickernell, CPA

Liz Hickernell, CPA, is an accomplished accounting professional with extensive experience in various consulting and managerial roles. Currently serving as a consultant at both Salo and Virtas Partners since January 2022, Liz previously held the position of Accounting Manager at Portillo's for a brief period and has significant experience from Fresh Thyme Market, where Liz worked from November 2015 to September 2021 in roles including Accounting Manager, Senior Accountant, and Staff Accountant. Earlier in Liz's career, experience as Audit Staff at Crowe Horwath LLP from January 2013 to November 2015 provided a strong foundation in auditing practices. Liz holds a Master of Science in Accounting from Northern Illinois University, obtained in 2014, and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the same institution, completed in 2013.
