Amy Shin

Amy Shin has over 25 years of experience in human resources and talent acquisition. Amy currently works as the Human Resources Director at Salon Lofts since 2023. Prior to that, Amy worked at zulily for 8 years, starting as an HR Manager for the Columbus OH Fulfillment Center in 2014. Their role involved overseeing HR functions such as hiring, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. Amy also worked with cross-functional teams and provided guidance to exempt leadership. Before zulily, Amy held various roles at The Wendy's Company, including Manager of Talent Acquisition and HR Manager. Their responsibilities included talent acquisition, empowering hiring managers, and collaborating with internal departments. Amy began their HR career at Qwest Communications as an HR Generalist and then worked as a Sr. HR Generalist. Amy supported a large employee population, addressed employee relations issues, and served as a subject matter expert for foreign national requirements. Amy's first HR role was at VOCA Corporation as an HR Coordinator, and they started their career as an HR Assistant at Copeland / Wilcox, Inc. Throughout their career, Amy has demonstrated expertise in HR leadership, compliance, employee relations, and talent acquisition.

Amy Shin has pursued their education at The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business. Amy completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resource Management. Later, they went on to obtain a Master's degree in Labor and Human Resources from the same institution.
