Michael Kot is the Founder and Managing Director of Saloon Media, with over 20 years of experience in broadcasting and production. Michael has held various high-level positions in companies such as Entertainment One, Canwest Broadcasting, Alliance Atlantis Broadcasting, and CBC Online. As the Senior Vice President Factual at Entertainment One, Michael oversaw all original factual programming for the company’s television group. Prior to that, as VP Factual Content at Canwest Broadcasting, Michael was responsible for overseeing programming, acquisitions, and the general operations of various channels. With a background in Film Studies and Psychology from Queen's University, Michael Kot has a track record of delivering successful and award-winning programs to clients worldwide.
