Pilar Fontela

Pilar Fontela is an accomplished Business Intelligence Manager at Salov Spa since April 2021, overseeing the brands Filippo Berio and Sagra in international and Italian markets, respectively, within a leading Italian olive oil company generating a turnover of approximately €350 million. Prior to this role, Pilar served as Global BI Manager EMEA at Pentair Water from June 2008 to April 2021, where the focus was on integrating critical customer information into a single tool for the customer service department. Pilar's earlier experience includes working as a Project Manager at PSI - Pirelli Sistemi Informativi from March 2001 to May 2008, handling key accounts in the Asia Pacific region, and as an SAP MM Consultant at Ibersis Italia from 1999 to 2001, where contributions were made to a business-to-business procurement project for Pirelli Cables in Milan. Pilar holds a degree in Business Management from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and has completed a scientific high school education at Liceo Italiano E. Fermi in Madrid.
