Hank Pennington

Hank joined Salt Creek as an executive partner in 2022. He brings over 20 years of general management experience with a focus on industrial distribution and manufacturing, serving a broad range of end markets.

Prior to joining Salt Creek, Hank was the COO of Krayden, a private-equity backed distributor of specialty adhesives engineered for electronics, aerospace and industrial applications. Working with the company’s founder, he successfully improved gross margins by over 200 bps and drove revenue growth through CRM implementation and the launch of lead generation and inside sales programs. Hank formerly led Essex Brownell, the industrial electronics distribution business unit of an international conglomerate, transforming the business and driving more than 25% top line growth and 50% EBITDA improvement in a declining market. He also brings significant international experience, having lived and worked in Europe as an expatriate leading strategic development for manufacturing operations in Europe and having partnered with key suppliers in Europe, Asia-Pacific, and South America.
