Amanda Roman

Amanda Roman is an accomplished urban designer and planner with extensive experience in municipal planning. Currently serving as an Urban Designer and Principal Planner at Salt Lake City Corporation since February 2020, Amanda previously held the position of Associate Planner with Taylorsville City from May 2017 to February 2020. Prior experience includes a role as a Planning Intern at Alta Planning + Design in 2015 and serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Utah from August 2013 to May 2015. Amanda holds a Master of City & Metropolitan Planning with a Graduate Certificate in Urban Design, as well as a B.S. in Environmental & Sustainability Studies with a focus on Urban Planning, both degrees obtained from the University of Utah.
