Hassan Abdi

Hassan Abdi is an experienced Public Engagement Coordinator at Salt Lake City Corporation since October 2020, where responsibilities include assisting Policy Analysts with various interests and conducting research on topics such as body cameras, mental health, substance abuse, mass incarceration, and housing discrimination. Prior to this role, Hassan served as a Research Intern, contributing to report compilation. Earlier experience includes an internship at Salt Lake County Library, where responsibilities involved supervising after-school activities for children, providing support to staff, managing communications, and promoting library services. Hassan completed a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Government at the University of Utah between 2016 and 2021.
