Nole Walkingshaw

Nole Walkingshaw has an extensive career in municipal government, currently serving as the Chief Innovation Officer for Salt Lake City Corporation since June 1998. In this role, Walkingshaw manages the innovation process within the City, fostering a culture of efficiency and process improvement. Previous positions include Deputy Director of Public Services and Communications & Administrative Services Manager, where Walkingshaw led policy development, strategic planning, and community outreach initiatives. Walkingshaw has also contributed to technology-driven civic engagement projects as the Civic Engagement and Innovations Manager. Additionally, experience with Code for America as a Municipal Partner and Co-Captain of the Open Salt Lake Brigade highlights a commitment to open government and technology innovation. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Urban Planning from the University of Utah.
