Christopher Needham

Christopher Needham currently serves as the Program Director for National Team Athlete Career Education at Salt Lake Community College, focusing on assisting athletes in transitioning to careers post-sport. Prior to this role, Needham spent over a decade at US Speedskating, where responsibilities included Director of Development and Partnerships, and crafting talent identification strategies that contributed to the United States’ Gold Medal success in 2018. Needham has also held positions as Equipment Technician for the US Olympic Speed Skating Team during the 2014 and 2018 Winter Olympics, and General Manager at Dinar LLC, specializing in speed skating merchandise. With a background as a member of the Short and Long Track National Teams, Needham combines professional athletic experience with extensive expertise in development, partnerships, and operations. Needham is also an independent Licensed Auto Damage Appraiser with experience in retail sales at The Home Depot. Education was completed at Northeastern University from 2001 to 2003.
