Saskia Devries

Saskia DeVries is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in business strategy, performance management, and innovation, currently serving as Business Strategy Manager in the Office of Regional Development at Salt Lake County since September 2019. Previous roles at Salt Lake County include Performance & Innovation Manager and Analyst in the Office of Data & Innovation. Prior experience includes an Innovation Fellowship at Harvard Kennedy School, where Saskia contributed to the redesign of regional homeless service systems. Academic qualifications include two Master's Degrees in Public Policy and Information Science from the University of Michigan, a Master’s Certificate in Project Management from The George Washington University, and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and Applied Math from Brown University. Extensive experience as a Statistician with the US Census Bureau involved technical assistance and capacity building for National Statistical Offices in multiple countries.
