Valerie Smith

Valerie Smith has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Valerie started their career at Auralex Acoustics as an Acoustical Engineering Intern, where they conducted room analyses and performed sound transmission tests. Valerie then worked at Target, starting as a cashier and later being promoted to the Price Accuracy and Food Service teams, demonstrating their attention to detail and customer service skills. Valerie then joined Daly-Standlee and Associates as an Acoustical Consultant, specializing in architectural acoustics, environmental noise, and industrial noise control. At Salter, they held the positions of Senior Consultant, Senior Associate, and currently Vice President. Valerie's expertise extends to the field of acoustics, and they are also involved in the National Council of Acoustical Consultants as a Director-at-Large.

Valerie Smith obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Acoustical Engineering from Purdue University, where they studied from 2006 to 2009. In 2015, they obtained their Professional Engineer certification from the State of Oregon. Furthermore, in 2016, they received the INCE Board Certified certification from INCE.
