Guido Giffels

Guido Giffels is a seasoned professional in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, currently serving as the Head of New Business Development and Head of Manufacturing Strategy at Saltigo since August 2003. In this role, Guido oversees the operation of Saltigo's Small Scale Pilot Plant Q17 and High Pressure Lab, focusing on process development, scale-up, and small-scale production. Prior to joining Saltigo, Guido held significant positions at Bayer Pharmaceuticals, including Head of Development Lab and Lab Head of Process Development, where responsibilities included various catalysis techniques and process development for life science intermediates. Guido earned a Dr. rer. nat. in Chemistry from Forschungszentrum Jülich and a Diplom-Chemiker in Chemistry from The University of Bonn.
