Xiangchun Yin has over two decades of experience in research and development roles. Xiangchun started as a Research Associate at SINOPEC Research Institute of Petroleum Processing in 1997 and later worked as a Research Scientist at Angiotech from 2006 to 2008. Xiangchun then joined Natrix Separations Inc. as a Senior Research Scientist from 2008 to 2009. Xiangchun Yin's most recent positions include Director of Research and Development and Chief Scientist at Saltworks Technologies Inc., where they played a key role in the development of IonFlux Ion Exchange Membranes.
Xiangchun Yin completed a Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry at McMaster University from 2000 to 2004 under the guidance of Prof. Harald Stover. Following this, from 2004 to 2006, Xiangchun Yin pursued a post-doctoral fellowship in Bioengineering at the University of Washington, working with Prof. Allan Hoffman and Prof. Patrick Stayton.
