Neloufar (Nelly) Taheri has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Currently, they hold two positions at SaltyCo as Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder, starting in 2019 and 2020 respectively. Previously, they worked as a General Teaching Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at Imperial College London from 2020 to 2021. Neloufar (Nelly) also served as a Teacher Assistant for Biodesign Workshops at Genspace NYC in 2017. In the same year, they worked as an Artist at Extrapolation Factory and as a Design Researcher & User Experience Designer at STELLA. Earlier in their career, they were a Design Assistant at The Extrapolation Factory in 2016 and a Design Research & Marketing intern at Motivate Design from 2016 to 2016. Before that, they served as the Digital Media Coordinator at NIMANY from 2014 to 2016 and worked in digital marketing at Seylynn (North Shore) Development LP in 2015. Additionally, they gained experience as an Event Coordinator and Social Media Branding intern at UN Women in 2015.

Neloufar (Nelly) Taheri has a diverse educational background. Neloufar (Nelly) started their education journey in 2013 at Parsons School of Design - The New School. There, they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Strategic Design & Management, and successfully completed their degree in 2017.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Neloufar went on to pursue further education in the field of design and innovation. From 2018 to 2020, they enrolled in Imperial College London, where they earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Innovation Design Engineering. Simultaneously, they also attended the Royal College of Art, where they completed a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Innovation Design Engineering.

Through their academic journey, Neloufar (Nelly) Taheri has acquired a strong foundation in design and management, with a focus on strategic thinking and innovation.
