Rory Garand

Rory Garand has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and engineering. Rory'smost recent role is as an Engineering Manager at Salucro Healthcare Solutions, starting in August 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Front End Architect at Echo Global Logistics from August 2020 to June 2022. Before that, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Quicket Solutions from October 2018 to July 2020.

Rory also has experience in mentoring and teaching, having worked as a Mentor at Thinkful from June 2015 to June 2020. Rory guided students in a virtual bootcamp to develop their full-stack development skills.

Early in their career, Rory worked as an Engineer at Kenexis from August 2007 to March 2014, designing network and security solutions for industrial control equipment. Rory conducted on-site interviews, network assessments, and developed design requirements.

In 2013, Rory briefly co-founded and co-owned Simple Leaf, and they gained experience as a Freelance Web Developer from March 2014 to July 2015.

Rory Garand has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The Ohio State University, which was obtained between the years 2003 and 2008. In addition, Rory has acquired two certifications. The first certification is as an ISA 84 Expert, earned in September 2012 from the institution ISA. The second certification is as an Engineer Intern from the State of Ohio, although the month and year of acquisition are not provided.
