Anushiya Kannan

Anushiya Kannan is a seasoned electrical engineer with extensive experience in various roles across the medical and telecommunications industries. Currently serving as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Saluda Medical since November 2019, Anushiya previously held the position of Senior Research/Verification Engineer at Simavita Ltd, where recognition as Employee of the Year was achieved in 2013. Anushiya's career includes significant contributions as a Senior Design/Test Systems Engineer at Cochlear, where automated test systems were developed for implant testing, and as a Researcher at UNSW, focused on localization systems. Earlier career experiences include leadership roles at Cellonics, Adaptive Broadband, and TriTech Microelectronics, contributing to the development of UWB radio systems and ASIC design. Anushiya holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Wireless Sensor Networks and a Bachelor of Engineering with Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Information Engineering from the University of Sydney.
