Principal Clinical Engineer, Therapy Development at Saluda Medical

Joanne Olecko, MSc, GCFT, is a seasoned Principal Clinical Engineer with extensive experience in therapy development and clinical engineering, currently working at Saluda Medical since June 2016. Joanne has played a pivotal role in investigating new indications for ECAP controlled closed loop stimulation and enhancing field clinical engineering practices. Previous positions at Boston Scientific Neuromodulation involved engineering support for clinical trials in neuromodulation therapies and bridging R&D with clinical applications. Additional experiences span various engineering roles, including DSP engineering and project leadership in Silicon Valley. Joanne's educational background includes a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, complemented by training as a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Teacher. Joanne is also the founder of the Women In Engineering group within IEEE, advocating for gender equality in engineering.
