Kelly Salmon is a Clinical Educator at Salus University. Prior to their current position, Salmon worked as an adjunct instructor at Temple University, a per-diem/contract speech-language pathologist at Therapists on Demand, Inc., and a speech-language pathologist - clinical specialist at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.

Salmon has extensive experience in the assessment and treatment of patients with diverse diagnoses within the acute care, rehabilitation, and outpatient settings. Kelly is skilled in performing videofluoroscopic swallow studies and FEES studies, and has presented numerous in-services on various discipline-specific topics for resident physicians, rehabilitation medicine colleagues, and students.

In addition to their clinical work, Salmon has also initiated revision of documentation and introduction of new products and treatment modalities to the department. Kelly is certified in providing Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation and myofascial release techniques for the treatment of dysphagia, as well as complete decongestive therapy (CDT) for the treatment of lymphedema in head and neck cancer patients.

Kelly Salmon works with Beth Davidoff - Clinical Educator, Sara Schmuckler - Clinical Educator, and Jennifer Downs - Clinical Educator. Kelly Salmon reports to Kara Maharay, Director of Clinical Education.
