Coleen Burgess

Coleen Burgess is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in business development, finance, and administrative management. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Business Development for Auxiliary Services at Salve Regina University since May 2025, Coleen previously held the position of Director of Finance at Seaport Hotel from May 2022 to June 2024. At Harvard University, a tenure from June 2011 to May 2022 included various roles such as Assistant Director for Finance & Administration for the Harvard University Police Department and Director of Administrative Services at the Derek Bok Center for Teaching & Learning. Earlier career roles included finance director for the Shannon O'Brien Committee for Governor of Massachusetts, president of Mass Strategy Group, and director of special events and projects at the University of Massachusetts. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Education from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and an MBA in Fundraising and Non-Profit Management from UMass Boston.
