Evgeny Semenov has a comprehensive and diverse work experience in the field of Control and Automation. Evgeny started their career in 2000 as an Instrumentation Engineer at SakhalinNIPImorneft Rosneft Project Center. During this time, they were involved in the instrumentation design of various facilities including compressor stations and oil tank farms. Evgeny also reviewed completed projects for compliance with standards and requirements.

In 2005, they joined SFERA LLC as a Lead Instrumentation Engineer for a brief period before moving on to Exxon Neftegas Limited. At Exxon, they served as a Measurement/Metrology Specialist and managed a team of technicians. Evgeny was responsible for coordinating site acceptance tests, certification, maintenance, and troubleshooting of metering equipment across multiple locations.

In 2013, Evgeny joined Sakhalin Energy where they held several roles. Evgeny initially worked as a Metering and QMI Engineer where they maintained the list of instruments and developed measuring systems passports. Evgeny then advanced to the position of Metering and QMI Team Lead, where they supervised maintenance, installation, and calibration of equipment. Later, they took on the role of Lead Control and Automation Engineer, implementing strategies and procedures and delivering obsolescence management.

Their most recent position was at Salym Petroleum Development, where they served as the Control and Automation Manager.

Throughout their career, Evgeny has demonstrated strong technical expertise in control and automation, as well as leadership and management skills. Their responsibilities have included asset integrity, maintenance activities, technical solution development, equipment operation and modification, personnel and contractor mobilization, and ensuring compliance with standards and procedures.

Evgeny Semenov obtained their Master of Science degree in Oil and Gas Automation from Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas (National Research University) between 1995 and 2000.
