Laurent Siquet

Laurent Siquet has a strong background in corporate strategy and innovation. Laurent is currently serving as the Head of Corporate Strategy at Salzburg AG für Energie, Verkehr und Telekommunikation. Prior to this, they worked as a Project Manager for Strategy & Innovation at Enercity from 2019 to 2021. Laurent also served on the Supervisory Board of Energie SaarLorLux AG from 2016 to 2019. Laurent held the position of Chief Strategy Officer at ENGIE Deutschland from 2016 to 2019 and Head of Strategy at GDF SUEZ Energie Deutschland from 2010 to 2016. Before moving into the energy industry, they worked at Electrabel Deutschland as a Senior Project Manager and held various roles related to business development and strategy. Laurent also has a background in research and technology transfer, having worked at the University of Liège in roles such as Research Valorisation Manager, Continuing Education Manager, and Technology Transfer Expert. Laurent also founded and served as the President of the Board at Intelligent Embedded Security s.a. from 2000 to 2005.

Laurent Siquet pursued their education in a chronological manner. From 1988 to 1993, they attended the University of Liège and obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Following this, they enrolled at HEC Liège from 1994 to 1996, where they obtained a Special Master (Licence spéciale) degree in Business Administration and Management, with a focus on General Management.
