Joan Verbon

Joan Verbon is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in transportation infrastructure and business development. Currently serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Sam Schwartz since August 2015, Joan has also held the position of General Director for North America at GPO Group, SA since August 2012. Previous roles include Director at Transitworks (2011 - July 2015) and CEO at GPO Engineering & Architecture, Inc. (2009 - 2012). Joan's early career includes a position as Deputy Director of the Studies & Design Area at GPO Ingeniería, S.A. Joan holds a Master of Business Administration from Esade, a DEA in Protection, Exploitation, and Management of Soil and Subsoil from Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Géologie, and a Licentiate degree in Geological Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
