Aïcha Ben Lakhdar

Aïcha is a Pathologist specializing in breast and ENT pathology and she brings to SamanTree Medical her expertise in the evaluation of new imaging technologies designed for pathology in an intraoperative setting.

Aïcha did her pathology residency at the Gustave Roussy Institute (GRI) in Paris-Villejuif. She became a full-time anatomopathological in 2012 and worked at GRI until July 2019 when she started working as a Pathologist at the SCP Bichat medical laboratory in Paris.

She has led several research projects with the aim to evaluate novel imaging technologies for medical applications, such as Raman Spectroscopy, ff-OCT, near-infrared spectroscopy, magnetic resonance elastography, and confocal microscopy. She has dedicated her career to improving pathology workflow by adopting new medical imaging techniques or resource optimization.
