Denise Peixoto is an experienced sustainability specialist with a robust background in environmental management and social development. Currently serving as Especialista de Sustentabilidade at Samarco since September 2015, Denise focuses on corporate sustainability strategy, ESG governance, and community engagement programs. Previous roles include providing emergency support and technical socio-economic assistance during the aftermath of the Barragem de Fundão disaster at Fundação Renova, and consulting on sustainability for small and medium enterprises. Denise has also contributed to social projects and educational programs in various consulting roles and has a solid academic foundation with an Executive MBA in Sustainable Development and Circular Economy from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul and a degree in Social Sciences from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais.
