Deborah Cox-Roush is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in managing large-scale programs and volunteer coordination. Currently serving as Manager of the Seniors Program at Samaritan's Feet International since June 2021, Cox-Roush previously held the position of National Director of Senior Corps at the Corporation for National and Community Service, where leadership included overseeing a $225 million operating budget and implementing new policies during the COVID-19 pandemic. Additional roles encompass Special Assistant to the Secretary at the U.S. Department of Education and Chief Executive Officer of DCR Creative Solutions, alongside significant contributions to political campaigns as a grassroots director and in volunteer management for major national events. Educated at Georgetown College with a degree in History/Education and a paralegal certification from Old Dominion, Cox-Roush demonstrates a strong commitment to public engagement and community service.

Samaritan’s Feet, founded by Nigerian-born Manny Ohonme and his wife Tracie, is a 501(c)(3) humanitarian aid organization with the mission to serve and inspire hope in children by providing shoes as the foundation to a spiritual and healthy life resulting in the advancement of education and economic opportunities. Since its founding in 2003, Samaritan’s Feet and their team of ambassadors have provided shoes for more than 8.6 million individuals in over 108 countries and 440 U.S. cities.
