Andrew Bellman has a diverse work experience in the fields of security, risk management, and law enforcement. Andrew began their career in 1984 as a Supply Specialist in the British Army. From 1988 to 2010, they served in various roles within the Thames Valley Police, starting as a constable and eventually rising to the position of Detective Inspector. During their time with the police, they gained extensive experience in operational activities, tactical firearms response, and managing high-profile investigations.
In 2010, Andrew started working as a freelance Security Consultant and Investigator, providing risk and security consultancy to corporate and private clients. Andrew delivered exceptional service to clients in areas such as close protection, residential security, and corporate insurance fraud investigations.
Andrew then joined Microsoft in 2013 as Senior Programme Manager International within the Event Risk Management Team. Andrew was responsible for event security in EMEA and APAC regions, including the integration and transition planning of Nokia Events during the Microsoft takeover. Andrew also focused on staff development and the cultural impact of the transition.
In 2013, they founded their own company called Andrew Bellman Global (ABG) Risk Ltd, which specializes in risk and security consultancy. The company offers a range of services, including mobile support, residential security, intelligence, and close protection.
Most recently, Andrew is working as the Director of Operations at Samaritan Protective Services since 2022.
Andrew Bellman has obtained a BTEC Level III in Security Qualifications. Andrew has also attended the College of Policing / Thames Valley Police, but no degree or field of study is specified.
