Sven Westergren

Sven Westergren is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in system simulation and software engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Engineer at SambaNova Systems since May 2023, Sven previously worked at Intel Corporation from October 2016 to May 2023 as a Software Engineer, focusing on modern web technologies for advanced system simulations. Prior roles include Senior Member of Technical Staff at Wind River, where scalable solutions for distributed cloud-based environments were developed, as well as various positions involving system simulation modeling in C and Python. Additional experience includes technical management at nWise, technical coordination at Combitech AB, and research assistance at Uppsala University. Sven holds a Master of Science in Engineering from Uppsala University, awarded in 2006.
