Charles Smith

Charles Smith has had two main work experiences. From October 2012 to March 2022, they were the Chief Executive Officer at Collision Management Systems, a company specializing in telematics and risk analytics for the fleet and insurance sector. Charles took the business from concept to product creation, secured private equity funding, and successfully delivered to customers in Europe, US, and LATAM before exiting to SambaSafety.

Since March 2022, Charles Smith has been working at SambaSafety as the VP Product, Product Management. In this role, they are responsible for the development and execution of SambaSafety's global insurance solutions, data products, and connected vehicle product strategies. Charles also leads SambaSafety's European office, insurance business, and the global product team. No end date is provided for this current role.

Charles Smith attended Loughborough University from 2010 to 2013, where they studied Materials Engineering with Design. Charles'sfield of study focused on vehicle design with the aim of reducing occupant injury in far side collisions.
