Jim Angel

Jim Angel CTP is an experienced telematics and safety professional with a career spanning several leadership roles in the transportation and logistics industry. Currently serving as a Telematics Safety Advisor at SambaSafety since July 2025, Jim has previously held the position of Vice President at SpeedGauge and EROAD, specializing in telematics partnerships and video telematics, respectively. With significant experience at companies such as Trimble Transportation and DriveCam, Jim has focused on enhancing safety and compliance solutions, particularly for heavy vehicle fleets. Notable achievements include managing multiple accounts at RYDER INTEGRATED LOGISTICS and leading operational growth initiatives. Jim began their career in transportation at Redman Building Products after studying at Pacific Coast Bible College.
