Mandy Anhalt has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Mandy began their career in 2007 as a Government Services Compliance Analyst at MedImpact. In 2008, they joined the Department of Homeland Security/Customs and Border Protection as an Agricultural Specialist, where they focused on enforcing trade compliance with Mexican commercial trade zone operators. In 2010, Mandy transitioned to NSF International as a Project Manager, a role they held until 2013. At NSF International, they managed projects related to compliance. Also in 2013, Mandy joined Sambazon, a fully organic and fair trade certified Acai company, as the Global Compliance Director. Mandy oversaw all regulatory decisions and reported to C-level management. Later, they became the Senior Director of Global Compliance and Sustainability, where they were responsible for ensuring regulatory requirements were met worldwide and that the company's environmental, social, and governmental responsibilities were upheld. These roles required working across various locations and managing manufacturing operations, sales offices, and product distribution globally. Overall, Mandy Anhalt has demonstrated expertise in compliance, project management, and sustainability.

Mandy Anhalt has a strong educational background in the field of science. Mandy obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Plant and Environmental Protection Science from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, graduating in 2005. Mandy further pursued their education at the same university and earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Entomology from 2005 to 2007.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Mandy also holds a certification as an SQF Practitioner in Implementing SQF Systems (Post-Farm Gate) from the SQF Institute. Mandy obtained this certification in April 2015.
