Matthieu Poot

Matthieu Poot currently serves as a Subsidiemedewerker Duurzaamheid at Samenwerkingsverband Noord-Nederland (SNN) since February 2025. Prior to this role, Matthieu worked as a Taalvrijwilliger at Forum Groningen and briefly as a Beleidsadviseur Sociaal Domein at Bender Groep. Matthieu also held several positions via Omix Beter Onderwijs, including Young Professional Onderwijslogistiek, Quality Assurance Officer at Technische Universiteit Eindhoven, Medewerker Studievoortgang at HAN University of Applied Sciences, and Onderwijsplanner at Hogeschool Inholland. Earlier experience includes working as a Magazijnmedewerker at Radial Inc. and a Research Intern at Provincie Fryslân, investigating the accessibility of the Frisian language. Matthieu began a career in education as a Bijlesdocent Talen at Studiecentrum Haren V.O.F. Matthieu holds a Master of Arts in Multilingualism from the University of Groningen and has completed an exchange program at Universidad Complutense de Madrid. A Bachelor of Arts in European Languages and Cultures was also earned from the University of Groningen.
