Romain Coulom

Romain Coulom has a diverse work experience in various industries and roles. Romain began their career at Thales Digital Identity and Security as a Digital Printing Development Engineer, where they led projects and conducted technological surveys. Romain then moved on to MGI Digital Graphic Technology, where they worked as a Project & Coordination Manager and played a major role in business development and patent management. At FREE2SEA, they served as the COO & Co-founder, contributing to the growth of the company. Romain also worked at MGI Digital Technology as the R&D & Operations Director, overseeing a multicultural team and implementing process improvements. Romain later joined Verpal as a Strategic Advisor and Valomat as the CEO. Romain also had an entrepreneurial experience at OSS Ventures as an Entrepreneur in Residence. Romain then joined Whyyle as the CEO & Co-founder, where they were responsible for various aspects of the business, including operations, sales, growth marketing, and strategy creation. Currently, Romain is working at Time for the Planet as an Associate, and in 2023 they will join Sami as part of the Impact Sales team.

Romain Coulom has a diverse education history. In 2004-2007, they completed an undergraduate intensive course in Engineering Sciences and Physics in Preparatory classes. From 2007-2010, they pursued two Master's degrees at Grenoble INP-UGA and Grenoble INP-Pagora, specializing in General Engineering and Printing, Converting, and Biomaterials Industries. In 2010-2011, Romain attended Grenoble Ecole de Management, earning an Advanced Master's degree in Technology Management and Innovation. In 2019, they participated in a Management Track program at Join Lion focused on People and Team Management Startups' Best Practices. In 2022, Romain completed a Sales B2B - Pipeline program at Mantra (ex-GrowthMakers) and a Growth Strategies Crash Course at Growth Tribe, enhancing their skills in Sales and Marketing respectively.
