Khushi Desai

Khushi Desai started their work experience as a Tax Intern at PKF Eastern Africa in July 2016. Khushi then worked as an Accounts Assistant at Prafulchandra & Brothers Ltd from June 2017 to March 2019. Following that, they were a Finance Assistant at JAN-PRO UK, where they handled Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable tasks from June 2019 to July 2021.

After that, Khushi worked as a Sales Associate at Smiggle UK & ROI from July 2021 to May 2022, where they achieved sales targets and gained skills in stockroom management and cash handling. Khushi then became an Audit Associate at PKF International from September 2022 to April 2023, completing audit fieldwork and preparing financial statements.

Currently, Khushi Desai is a Finance Assistant at SamKnows, starting in April 2023. Their responsibilities include daily transactions and bookkeeping, maintenance of month-end schedules, and raising invoices.

Throughout their work experience, Khushi has demonstrated proficiency in finance, accounts, sales, and audit.

Khushi Desai started their education by obtaining an International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) from Premier Academy in 2016. Khushi then attended the International College Portsmouth (ICP) from 2018 to 2019, where they earned a Diploma of Education in Accounting and Finance. Following that, from 2019 to 2021, Khushi pursued a Bachelor of Arts Honors degree in Accounting with Finance from the University of Portsmouth. Currently, they are enrolled in the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) program for the years 2021 to 2023, focusing on Accounting and Finance.

In addition to their formal education, Khushi has also obtained various certifications to enhance their knowledge and skills. Khushi completed certifications such as "Become a Financial Analyst," "Excel: Analyzing and Visualizing Cash Flows," "Financial Modeling and Forecasting Financial Statements," and "Managerial Economics" from LinkedIn in October 2022. In September 2022, they completed certifications in "Excel: Advanced Formulas and Functions," "Excel: Financial Functions in Depth," "Financial Accounting Part 1," "Financial Accounting Part 2," "SAP Business One: Finance and Banking," and "QuickBooks Online Essential Training" from LinkedIn. Furthermore, in August 2022, Khushi obtained certifications in "SAP Accounts Payable Boot Camp" from LinkedIn. Lastly, they received the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award from The Duke of Edinburgh's Award in July 2017.
