Bas H.

Bas H. is an experienced engineering professional specializing in asset reliability and systems integration. Currently serving as an Asset Reliability Specialist at Samotics since January 2022, Bas focuses on predictive maintenance and electrical signature analysis. Prior experience includes working as an AIT Engineer at Nearfield Instruments B.V., developing high-throughput metrology tools, and as an Application Engineer at Moog Inc., where Bas contributed to flight simulation systems. Bas began an engineering career with a Graduate Internship at Nexperia, investigating damage detection in semiconductor devices, and a Research Internship at Hilti, optimizing fatigue approval methods for construction anchors. Bas holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design Engineering from Delft University of Technology.
