Thomas Lund Erichsen has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Thomas Lund is currently serving as the Head of IT Security at Sampension since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked at ATP as a Security Architect from April 2020 to May 2022, where they were responsible for various information security disciplines.
Before joining ATP, Thomas held multiple roles at NNIT. From February 2019 to March 2020, they served as the Principal IT Security Architect, responsible for business development and security assessments. Prior to this, they were the Manager of the Application Security team from February 2016 to January 2019, where they focused on building competencies and providing security consultancy.
Additionally, Thomas was the Manager of Team Nemlog-in at NNIT from April 2015 to January 2019, overseeing software development and maintenance. Thomas Lund also served as a Line Manager from December 2013 to March 2015, managing a team of developers for solutions in the Danish public sector. Before that, they held the role of Software Solutions Architect and Senior Software Developer, contributing to projects such as Nemlog-in.
Earlier in their career, Thomas worked at NNE Pharmaplan as an Automation Engineer, developing and supporting GxP systems for pharmaceutical applications. Thomas Lund also served as a Research Scientist at the Technical University of Denmark, focusing on computer-aided process engineering.
Overall, Thomas has extensive experience in IT security, architecture design, business development, and people management.
Thomas Lund Erichsen completed their education in a chronological order. Thomas Lund started their academic journey by attending Haslev Sofiendalskolen, where they completed their elementary school education from 1980 to 1990. Thomas Lund then proceeded to Haslev Gymnasium, where they pursued their high school education from 1990 to 1993.
After completing high school, Thomas Lund Erichsen enrolled in DTU - Technical University of Denmark from 1993 to 1999. During this period, they obtained a Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering.
In addition to their formal education, Thomas Lund Erichsen has also achieved several certifications. In 2015, they earned the certification of Professional Scrum Product Owner I from Scrum.org. In 2017, they became a Certified Ethical Hacker accredited by EC-Council. In 2019, they obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) credential from (ISC)². Continuing their pursuit of knowledge, in 2021 they achieved the GIAC Certified Enterprise Defender (GCED) certification from GIAC Certifications. Most recently, in 2022, they acquired the GIAC Defending Advanced Threats (GDAT) certification, also from GIAC Certifications.
