Jen Moore

Jen Moore has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of stem cell research and lab management. Jen started their career in 2002 as a Post-doc at Hubrecht Laboratory, where they gained valuable research experience. In 2005, they moved to UC Davis for another Post-doc position.

In 2007, Jen joined Rutgers University as a Research Associate and later became the Associate Director of the Stem Cell Lab at RUCDR/Infinite Biologics. During their time at Rutgers, they made significant contributions by expanding the lab, adding new service offerings, and managing projects to ensure client satisfaction. Jen also developed and launched an iPSC CRISPR gene editing service.

In 2012, Jen was promoted to Assistant Professor at Rutgers University, and in 2018, they became the Director of the Stem Cell Lab, where they continued to excel in managing the lab, ensuring regulatory compliance, and expanding the team by adding technicians.

In 2020, Jen took on a new challenge and joined Sampled as the Senior Director of Advanced Sample Processing. Jen successfully led the transition of the stem cell lab during the spin-out from Rutgers University and expanded the service offerings and headcount to meet the demands of an increased client base.

In 2021, Jen was promoted to the role of Head of Cellular Services at Sampled, where they became responsible for all aspects of cell culture and services. Jen demonstrated strong leadership skills by improving processing efficiency, developing new service offerings, and providing strategic support to executives for business growth opportunities.

Jen Moore's education history includes a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Jen pursued this degree from 1992 to 1996. Following their undergraduate studies, Jen Moore obtained a PhD in Biochemistry and Biophysics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Jen completed their doctoral studies from 1996 to 2001.
