Justin Swaney

Justin Swaney has a diverse work experience, beginning with a Sales Clerk role at Heyer True Value Hardware in 2006. Justin then worked as an Upholsterer at Integra Seating in 2012 and as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2011, where they introduced students to Matlab programming in a Chemical Engineering context. In 2013, they worked as a Researcher at Northwestern University. In 2014, they became a Graduate Student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). In 2017, they took on the role of Assistant Professor at the Academy for Advanced Research and Development. In 2020, they began working as a Computational Biologist II at Fulcrum Therapeutics, and they are currently Co-Founder & CTO at Samply.

Justin Swaney began their educational journey in 2010 when they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In 2013, they completed a short course in Chemical Engineering at Northwestern University. In 2014, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
