Derek DeBlois has held various roles throughout their work experience. Starting in 2010, they worked as a Waiter at The Wharf Pub for a period of two months. From 2010 to 2014, they also served as a Student-Athlete on the University of Michigan Men's Ice Hockey Team, where they were voted one of the team's Captains in their senior year. During this time, they developed personal and team goals, utilized time management and communication skills, and maintained a rigorous athletic schedule. In 2011, Derek DeBlois also worked as a Camp Instructor at the University of Michigan Red Berenson Hockey Camp, where they instructed and managed kids ages 10-18 both on and off the ice.
Moving forward, from 2014 to 2017, they played as a Professional Hockey Player for the Worcester Sharks, the South Carolina Stingrays, and the Cleveland Monsters. In 2017, they joined the EC Kassel Huskies as a Professional Hockey Player. Derek also held the position of Director of Customer Acquisition at State and Liberty Clothing Co. from 2017 to 2018.
In 2018, Derek DeBlois started working at Samsara, initially as an Enterprise Account Development representative, and later transitioning to the role of Account Executive. Currently, Derek DeBlois is serving as the Team Lead and Senior Account Executive for the Mid Market division at Samsara.
Derek DeBlois pursued their education at the University of Michigan from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree. Prior to that, they attended The Hotchkiss School from 2007 to 2009. The degree and field of study for their time at The Hotchkiss School are not specified.
