Jim Patterson

Jim Patterson is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in product management and leadership roles across various industries. Currently serving as the Director of Product Management at Samsara, Jim leads the development of routing, dispatch, navigation, and maps services for heavy commercial vehicles, leveraging AI-powered software and hardware. Prior to this, Jim was the Chief Product Officer and Advisor at Candidate Labs, achieving significant revenue growth and client experience improvements. As Chief Product Officer at NEXT Trucking, Jim played a pivotal role in raising $125M for the digital freight brokerage and intermodal TMS. Jim also held key leadership positions at Earnest and Google, where contributions included substantial revenue growth and successful acquisitions. Jim holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Stanford University and an MBA in General Management from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
