Matthew Young

Matthew Young is an experienced design professional with a focus on user experience and product design. Currently serving as Design Manager II at Samsara since June 2023, Matthew previously held positions such as Senior UX Design Manager and Lead Product Designer at Rivian from June 2020 to April 2023. At Zoox, Matthew was a Senior UX Designer from September 2018 to April 2020 and served as Principal UX Strategist at Faraday Future from April 2017 to August 2018, where responsibilities included leading the product design strategy for the flagship vehicle, the FF 91. Prior roles include Freelance UX Design Consultant at AKQA and Senior UX Designer at Intersection. Matthew began a career in design at Publicis and has also worked at Sports Illustrated and EF Educational Tours. Educational credentials include a Master of Professional Studies in Interactive Telecommunications from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Boston College.
