Nicky Van Maanen currently serves as the Manager of Identity & IT Engineering at Samsara, where achievements include the on-time completion of all 47 BizTech controls for StateRAMP and a significant reduction in user offboarding processing time through automation. Previously, Nicky took a career break to focus on family after leading Technical Operations at Sourcegraph, where Nicky built the IT and Compliance program from scratch and expanded the team globally. Nicky's prior experience includes senior roles at Enstoa, contributing to digital operations, internal controls, and strategic growth, as well as project management at the Manhattan District Attorney's Office. Nicky holds a Master of Science in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Studio Art from Scripps College.
