Remeez Backer

Remeez Backer has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. They started their career as a Sales and Application Engineer at Gulf Sail General Trading in 2010 and worked until September 2011. In 2012, they served as a Market Researcher (Principal) at the Japanese American Society of Greater Philadelphia for a short period. Later that year, they joined IBM as a Statistical Analyst until 2014. At Comcast, starting in March 2014, they worked as a Business Intelligence Analyst until May 2016. Remeez then returned to IBM as a Senior Analytics Consultant, a position they held until January 2019. From 2019 to 2022, they worked as a Finance Transformation - Data and Analytics SME at IBM before transitioning to their current role as a Sr. Marketing Analytics Manager at Samsara, starting in May 2022.

Remeez Backer has a diverse educational background with degrees and certificates in various fields. In 2005, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Anna University, specializing in Electronics and Communication. Later, in 2011, they pursued a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Marketing and Data Analytics at Drexel University, completing it in 2013.

In terms of additional certifications, Remeez has continuously upskilled himself. Remeez earned a Certificate of Quantum Excellence in Quantum Computing and Quantum Machine Learning from the 2021 Qiskit Global Summer School. Furthermore, they have obtained several certifications from reputable institutions. In 2016, they completed the Data Science Foundations certification from IBM. In subsequent years, they acquired skills in Deep Learning by completing the Deep Learning Fundamentals (2018), AI Technical Accelerator (2019), and Deep Learning Specialization (2020) certifications, all offered by IBM and Coursera.

Remeez also holds two certifications from MIT xPRO, namely "Practical Realities of Quantum Computation and Quantum Communication" (2021) and "Quantum Computing Realities" (2021).
