Sara Hubbard

Sara Hubbard has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various roles and companies. Sara is currently serving as the Senior Product Design Manager at Samsara since May 2023. In June 2017, they co-founded Seattle Women of Design & UX. Additionally, they have worked as a UX Instructor at the School of Visual Concepts starting from June 2019. From January 2019 to November 2021, they worked at Smartsheet in multiple roles, including Senior Product Design Manager and Senior Product Designer. Sara also had previous experience as the Lead UX Designer at Slope (acquired by Smartsheet) from January 2016 to January 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a UX Designer at Adage Technologies from August 2013 to January 2016. Sara started their professional career as a Graphic Designer at Quicksilver Associates in May 2012 and then worked as a Graphic Design Intern at The Aparecio Foundation from June 2011 to May 2012. Sara's earliest work experience was as a Graphic Designer in the Department of Fine and Performing Arts at Loyola University Chicago from September 2010 to May 2012. Throughout their career, Sara has demonstrated their expertise in product design, UX, and graphic design while successfully managing teams, leading workshops, and establishing design systems.

Sara Hubbard completed their Bachelor's degree in Visual Communication and French from Loyola University Chicago, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. In 2011, they also had an educational experience in Nantes, France, through a program at IES Abroad, although the specific field of study is not provided. Beyond their formal education, Sara has obtained additional certifications in Situational Leadership from The Center for Leadership Studies in November 2020 and as a Smartsheet Certified User from Smartsheet in February 2019.
