Tonia Hsia

Tonia Hsia is a Senior Software Engineer at Samsara, where since March 2019, contributions have been made to the Developer Experience team focusing on developer tooling and infrastructure for backend development. Prior to this role, Tonia served as Engineering Manager overseeing teams responsible for developer tooling across frontend and backend, along with testing and CI/CD management. Tonia has a history as a Senior Software Engineer on the Platform UX team and as a Software Engineer on the Mobile team, emphasizing infrastructure development. Before joining Samsara, Tonia worked as a Software Engineer at Uncommon Co., building frontend components and features. Tonia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Economy from the University of California, Berkeley, and has completed education at App Academy, College of San Mateo, Seoul Foreign School, and Concordia International School.
