Nadav Sorek

Nadav Sorek is a microbiology laboratory manager currently at Samson Assuta Ashdod University Hospital since March 2022, previously serving as the assistant manager of the clinical microbiology laboratory at Assuta Medical Centers from March 2019 to March 2022 and at Beilinson Hospital within Clalit Health Services from December 2016 to March 2019. Nadav's academic background includes a Ph.D. in plant science from Tel Aviv University, where prior educational achievements included an M.Sc. and a B.Sc. in biology. Research experience includes a postdoctoral position at UC Berkeley's Energy Biosciences Institution focusing on plant cell wall formation and biofuels, complemented by a graduate research focus on protein lipid modifications and protein targeting at Tel Aviv University. Additionally, Nadav served as a senior teaching assistant for an introductory laboratory course in molecular biology.
