Shuhui Qu

Shuhui Qu is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in machine learning and algorithm development. Currently serving as a Staff Machine Learning Scientist and Engineer Manager at Samsung Display since June 2019, Shuhui Qu oversees project progression while establishing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for data management and machine learning algorithm deployment. Concurrently, Shuhui Qu is an Affiliated Researcher at Stanford University, focusing on algorithmic safety and developing frameworks that integrate safety into reinforcement learning (RL) algorithm design. Previous roles at Stanford include Research Assistant, where Shuhui Qu enhanced scheduling efficiency in manufacturing systems using RL, and Teaching Assistant for various machine learning courses. Shuhui Qu earned a PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Stanford University and holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Tongji University.
