James Chung

Vp, New Product Innovation at Samsung Electro-Mechanics

James Chung has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. James started their career as a Process Engineer at Westinghouse-SRS in 1990 and worked there until 1995. James then joined Intel Corporation in 2001 as a Senior Process Development Engineer, staying until 2007. After that, they worked at Samsung Cheil Industries as a GM Business Development from 2007 to 2010. Following that, they worked at JSR Micro as a Program Manager from 2010 to 2013. Currently, they are serving as the VP of New Product Innovation at Samsung Electro-Mechanics America, Inc. starting from September 2013.

James Chung pursued their education starting in 1985 at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry in 1990. James then proceeded to further their studies at UCLA, where they obtained a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from 1995 to 2001.
